Andromeda Will Not Get Single-Player DLC

Mass Effect: Andromeda's Story DLC Cancellation Has Been Denied by BioWare
Until today, that is, when Kotaku reported that the hoax actually got it right: According to three sources "familiar with BioWare's plans", Andromeda will not get any single-player DLC.
Sinclair Networks'spost said that due to EA recently reportedly putting Mass Effect on hiatus, the publisher has decided not to waste any further resources on new content for Andromeda. This should have been a clear indication of the fact that Andromeda will no longer receive new expansions or mission packs in the future, but as always people refused to believe even the most serious and official of statements. The chilly reception to Andromeda led the company to transfer BioWare Montreal's employees to other projects, including Star Wars Battlefront II, Anthem, and the next Dragon Age. It's also been said that the series has been put on hold for now too... Although a small team remains in place to work on Mass Effect: Andromeda's multiplayer and patch support (which isn't done yet), most of BioWare Montreal has moved on.
Small plane crashes on 405 freeway outside Los Angeles The plane clipped a blue pickup truck as it crashed on the freeway, but the driver suffered only a bruised elbow, Kurtz said. Sejah Qamoum, 17, received two staples on her head and was released from the hospital Tuesday, according to KHOU.
The confirmation of no single-player DLC for Mass Effect: Andromeda does not entirely come as a surprise, but it is certainly still sad news for fans of the franchise, especially as the game still has several loose ends in its story. The information comes from a now deleted post on Facebook by Sinclair Networks. "While we can't talk about future yet, I can def say we build our own dlc/patches for our games and don't hire fake companies to do so", wrote producer Fernando Melo. It's unfortunate for sure, as expanded story content in the past has been something fans have looked forward to, especially in the case of Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.
