An runaway MTA bus rushed down a Brooklyn street early Wednesday morning and hit at least one person after a city bus driver accidentally left the bus in neutral. The bus careened down the street, striking several parked cars as it picked up speed. "A few minutes later I walk up the street and see 2 other MTA employees and tell them what happened and pointed them towards the accident".

When asked how fast the bus was going, Times said that the bus was going "roughly about 20 miles per hour".

The ten damaged cars have all been towed away, while the church was not seriously damaged. Because it hit that auto right there, it turned and then stopped right there at the church.
