Marshawn Lynch says that he chose to unretire and join the Oakland Raiders because the team announced it was leaving for Las Vegas. "With me being from here and continuing to be here, it was my opportunity to get to see somebody that actually did from where they from and for the team that they probably idolized".

Lynch, 30, was born and raised in Oakland and attended college at nearby University of California-Berkeley.

"Being from home, you want to play at home or have the opportunity", Lynch said in a relatively brief press conference that covered hometown business and included some profanity. "I think taking good shots when we're playing with pace and not turning the basketball over, letting them get out in transition".

Lynch was asked when he decided he wanted to unretire and play for the Raiders. Lynch hasn't always been comfortable with the media, but in Oakland he feels at home. A storybook ending would be to help the Raiders to a Super Bowl before they move to Vegas. The Seahawks traded his rights to the Raiders on April 26.

Also, during the same press conference, which ran for like four or five minutes, Lynch said "shit" a few times before saying something that likely made the people broadcasting it live on NFL Network start to regret that decision.

"It was heartfelt but at the end of the day I still walk outside", Lynch said.

About a year ago, the Pope said that Trump wasn't appropriately serving the Christian faith with his harsh stance on immigration . The two men were left alone with a translator to hold a private discussion before emerging again to exchange gifts and farewells.

Since joining the Raiders, Lynch has been a regular participant in the offseason program, unlike during his time in Seattle, and he generated buzz when coach Jack Del Rio posted a video Monday of Lynch running for a TD during practice.

"I got the whole town, you feel me, riding with me".

While some fans have jettisoned their season tickets in protest, the Raiders have said their season tickets are sold out.

Lynch was perhaps the best in the league before he retired. "The billboards are for the commercial people, but when you get outside, and you walk in the cracks, you get to find out what's real". No one expects him to play beyond the team's existence in Oakland.

The all-pro running back who played six seasons with the Seahawks and helped them win a Super Bowl, is almost as famous for his tight lips as he is for his bruising running style.
