Clinton slams New York Times DNC Comey

President Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton engaged in a Twitter skirmish Wednesday night that saw the president revive his "Crooked Hillary" moniker.

The former DNC staffer accused the Clinton campaign of ignoring their warnings about three states that proved crucial for the election of President Donald Trump.

Russians wanted to spread misinformation about her, she said, but "could not have known how best to weaponize that information unless they had been guided...."

When asked for clarification, the failed presidential candidate replied: "I mean it was bankrupt, it was on the verge of insolvency, its data was mediocre to poor, nonexistent, wrong".

"I think this time around, the confluence of the Russian Federation hacking and that they tried to sway the election Trump's way. and the Comey thing gave her back-up to say, 'Hey, this wasn't my fault, '" the ex-adviser said.

Mr Trump was not buying it.

Hillary Clinton has found plenty of non-Hillary Clinton things to blame for her 2016 loss, including Russia, James B. Comey, debate moderators and misogyny.

Clinton's note was a reference to the sentence fragment Trump tweeted at 12:06 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, which simply read, "Despite the constant negative press covfefe".

Kucinich said that Clinton might be "burning bridges" with members of her party with her remarks.

The tweet has since been deleted.

The tweet remained online for some 5½ hours, drawing worldwide ridicule.

In response to the letter writers who keep insisting that Hillary Clinton would be president if we had a popular vote, you are dreaming.

John Hagner, a partner at Clarity, added: "I worked with DNC data every day last cycle, on winning Gov races".

"We're living in such an abnormal time, when we look at the way this White House is behaving about some of the biggest challenges we face", she said.

In a Wednesday appearance at Recode's Code Conference in California, Clinton pointed to the DNC's data deficit when she became the Democratic nominee.

Huckabee said he thinks they're trying to distract Trump and his team from implementing their agenda, but it 's not clear if they're succeeding in doing so.

Clinton's latest allegations echoed a previous allegation she made decades ago that she and her husband Bill were the victims of what she described as a "vast right-wing conspiracy".
