Monday's Weather: Showers and storms will develop later this afternoon
The greatest likelihood for severe weather will take place late in the afternoon and into Monday night.
Sunday will be similar to Saturday but just a touch warmer and more humid as southerly flow brings more moisture into our area.
Wednesday looks relatively quiet for Kansas, but more storms are on the way for Thursday and Friday with more severe weather expected. Storms will impact the state again after 7 PM on Tuesday night through the early morning on Wednesday. South wind 10 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.
Large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes are possible. Down to about Highway 30, there is a slight risk area for severe storms for scattered severe storms and more short-lived and not widespread activity.
Would Tory price cap lower energy bills? The Liberal Democrats' Ed Davey said: "It is never a good idea to copy the economic strategy of Ed Miliband". A cap suggests a maximum amount that can be charged, not a promise that bills won't go up year on year".
Northeast Iowa, Southeast Minnesota and parts of Western Wisconsin are under an enhanced risk area for severe storms. Wind: S 15-25; gusty.
That increasing level of warmth and humidity will be enough to keep storms going across northern Iowa into the early afternoon.
You'll also see a sneak peek at the newest addition to the WTVM fleet of vehicles, created to take you into the storm and report conditions live during severe weather. High temperatures might stall in the mid 50s to low 60s with a Twin Cities metro high around 60. Highs are expected to top out in the 80s for much of the week ahead, before we cool back down into the 70s leading into next weekend.
