Jackson says trade might be best for Carmelo, Knicks

After team president Phil Jackson said that Carmelo Anthony would be better off on another team, second-year forward Porzingis decided he'd had enough with the circus.

"We've not been able to win with [Anthony] on the court at this time". The relationship between Anthony and Jackson has been strained and it's better for all parties involved to part ways and move on. "You lose in the first round, it didn't work out, and you think, 'We gotta change some people on our team.' So there maybe some quick outs that may change some people's minds as to what they're going to do".

Porzingis, according to team sources, is frustrated with the Knicks' lack of direction.

Knicks president Phil Jackson has been in the news a lot lately for making controversial comments regarding Carmelo Anthony's status with the team.

At 32 years old and under these circumstances, Anthony isn't going to bring back equal value, but Jackson declared Friday he's looking for a "significant player" in return.

There are reports saying Anthony is ready to void the no-trade clause in his contract.

One thing I've noticed about Phil Jackson is his ability to say that may be technically correct in a manner that makes you want to punch him in the face.

- Jackson said Derrick Rose, whose first season with the Knicks ended with him needing surgery to fix torn knee cartilage, told him he wants to return as a free agent "to have a chance to redeem himself as a player".

Israel shuts Egypt border crossing following terror warning
The Israeli government shut down its border crossing with Egypt Monday in response to a threat of a terrorist attack. Tawadros had been attending a mass at the church but a Coptic Church official said he had left before the blast.

"This is not something that you want to have labelled on your career". "In order to get all the things that they want to achieve, it has to start with them". According to the latest National Basketball Association rumors, Anthony believes that he could be traded this offseason and he is open to waiving his no-trade clause.

Porzingis later liked Anthony's post on Instagram.

"Holding the ball is not a criticism". That's what he does. Once this materializes, Jackson just needs to find a business partner willing to accept Anthony.

"He's a player that would be better off somewhere else".

It appears that Carmelo Anthony's time with the New York Knicks may be coming to an end.

He said they will head into this summer prioritizing adding shot-blocking, wing defense and shooting after the team finished last in 3-pointers made and attempted. Or, why would anyone want to come to a team that has no loyalty to its star players? Which I like that attitude.

I wish Jackson had realized the same about himself.
