Police track leads in search for Wisconsin gun theft suspect

The victim was unable to get out of the water and drowned, police said.

A Canadian TV news crew captured video of a man plunging into an icy pond to rescue his dog, Cosmo. When he got out of the water, McIver called the decision "split second", saying, "You're not just going to let him die, right?" "I don't know, I think most people would do the same thing for their dogs".

Earlier this month, firefighters rescued a youth who wandered onto thin ice in Ted Hole Park.
