Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Releases Final Video Teaser 'Judgement Day'
10 April 2017, 02:17 | Muriel Sparks
However, we will know the answer to all of our questions when the auto is released on April 11.
We are a week away from the next New York Auto Show and we can't wait to be at the event.
Just like in the previous teasers, Dodge shows the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon in an undisclosed Dodge test facility. But like most major debuts, someone on the internet has managed to get their hands on a photo of what appears to be the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon on the drag strip, which is in line with all the marketing materials Dodge has put out so far for the auto.
To prepare the Demon to utilize this high-octane fuel variety, drivers will have to use separately-shipped Direct Connection Performance parts. With less than a week to go before the car's actual unveiling, the latest news concerns what fuels the Demon.
With the new bits plugged in, the Demon's V8 can adjust its spark timing to take advantage of the higher-octane fuel.
The SRT Demon features a new Drag Mode mechanical/electronic suspension tuning, which according to Dodge, is the best of both worlds when it comes to mechanical and electronic tuning.
To help the Demon guzzle gas like a beer-swilling sailor on shore leave, Dodge will include two fuel pumps instead of the one used by Hellcat, as well as larger fuel injectors with higher rail pressure. Drag racers will see big changes in elapsed time (ET) with the high-octane fuel.
The video was a timely release a day after revealing that 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon will have the ability to run on race gas.
All the refined details will be available at the New York International Auto Show 2017 where the vehicle will be displayed for the very first time.

Most of North Korea's missiles use liquid propellant, which usually must be added on the launch pad before the weapon is fired. Pacific Command said in a statement around the same time that initial assessments showed the missile was a mid-ranged KN-15.
