FORMER West Indies batsman Bryan Davis said a lack of consistency continues to hinder the West Indies performances, following a 3-1 series loss to Pakistan in the T20 series which concluded on Sunday. The tally includes 63 wickets in 10 test matches in the United Arab Emirates, which has been Pakistan's "home" venue after foreign teams refused to tour Pakistan because of security reasons since the 2009 terror attack on the Sri Lanka cricket team bus.
He also briefly led his team to world number one Test rankings a year ago, despite playing no matches at home due to the prevailing insecurity in the country.
Misbah has played 72 Test matches so far, scoring 4951 runs and is now seventh on the list of Pakistan's highest Test run-getters. "He has always been good with players and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)", he said.
