Google is working hard to add more and more functions and we can not deny that it is working hard to make its competitors like Apple Maps uneasy.

Announced in a blog post, a new "Share location" button will soon show up within the Google Maps mobile applications. From there, you choose who you want to be share your precise location with and for how long.

On the other end, the people you've selected to share with will see your location in Maps once they tap the link, and you will see an icon above the compass on your own map letting you know that you're being watched. If you're running late, you will also be able to share your real-time location and trip progress from navigation. Tap "Share location" and then select who to share with and how long to share-and you're done!

Remembering where their vehicle is parked is a huge hassle for drivers in the big city, especially when the parking lot or building is huge and sprawling.

On both the iOS and Android versions of the app, you'll be able to share your location with anyone in real time. Apple's default Find My Friends app lets people locate your friends and family from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Watch, or iCloud, and people can also share their whereabouts on iMessage, which pulls from Apple's Maps. If you've ever found yourself confounded by this annoying problem, you know what a drag it can be to start hunting around a vast parking lot, laden with. The "Save your parking" feature has been added to the Google Maps' beta-version for Android users and we expect it to be made public very soon.

Whether Pluto is a planet or not: all worlds are worth investigating
Runyon and colleagues argue that the IAU does not have the authority to set the definition of a planet. Hearing that our solar system is pretty big probably doesn't come as groundbreaking news.

The feature, simply called Parking Location', is now only supported on Android devices. Location Sharing is a real-time feature that could come in handy, especially if you're meeting someone in a large area such as New York's Central Park because it enables you to pinpoint your location right on your friend's smartphone.

Location sharing.could raise all kinds of privacy concerns.

Google Maps quietly added a sweet new feature that will help you remember where you parked. You can even configure this option to provide an alert when you're coming close to your time expiration or when time has expired.

User can also use the feature to allow authorized people to follow them if they are making a trip to specified destination.
