Governor Andrew Cuomo has ordered an investigation into another bomb threat against the Jewish Community Center in Rochester.

'As New Yorkers, we will not be intimidated and we will not stand by silently as some seek to sow hate and division'.

Threats have also targeted Canadian Jewish community centres and schools recently in Calgary, Toronto, London, Ont., Vancouver and Winnipeg, including the second threat in a week to the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver.

Due to the nature of the threat, JCC officials decided the keep the facility open while an HPD K9 checked out the building.

At the time, Goldfarb said community members were anxious because it followed similar threats to other Jewish community centres in Toronto, London, Ont. and Calgary.
