Doctors had suspected that her obesity is linked to one or multiple genes of the 91 which are known to be connected to obesity.
Shen she arrived at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport she was transported to Saifee Hospital for the surgery on a truck in February.
Eman was initially refused a visa for India because of her inability to get to the embassy in person, until the process was expedited by India's external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj.
