Mount Etna in Sicily, Italy continues erupting on Wednesday with fountains of lava. The panel of experts who keep an eye on these volcanoes have deemed this latest eruption as not being risky, but are monitoring the situation closely.

Etna's last major eruption was in 1992 when two streams of lava threatened the village of Zafferana.
During that eruption, as lava threatened to overtake a Sicilian village, USA marines lent a hand during the aptly named Operation Volcano Buster.
Volcanologists said Tuesday's eruptions were not considered unsafe. This time, however, authorities report no danger to the towns that dot the mountain's slopes.
