Fox's Marvel Pilot Casts Jamie Chung As Blink
It's not the first time Blink's been brought to live action-Fan Bingbing briefly played the character in X-Men: Days of Future Past's future-set scenes, where she was quickly killed off by the Sentinels. Marvel described the character as "a sarcastic and lively tomboy", whose "naturally strong exuberance has taken a hit after a sudden and traumatic upheaval of her life".
Chung joins Switched at Birth alum Blair Redford who was cast in the role of Sam, the headstrong Native American leader of the underground group who sounds an very bad lot like Marvel's iconic hero Warpath. A mutant with the ability of teleportation, the Blink introduced in the series will be looking to find herself again as she adjusts to her new normal.
What other X-Men characters would you like to see appear on this new X-Men series? The first Blink died in her initial storyline as a lead into the Generation X comic book series.
FOX's X-Men pilot has added a big name to its yet untitled Marvel project, and longtime fans of the Exiles and Age of Apocalypse should be quite happy.

Jamie Chung is making the jump from DC back to Marvel. The family joins an underground network of mutants and must fight for survival.
Deadline and other outlets have confirmed Chung's casting in the role, which lists her character's name as Clarice Fong.
We don't know much about the upcoming X-Men universe show being prepared right now by Fox and creator Matt Nix, aside from the fact that original X-Men film director Bryan Singer is directing the pilot, and that it involves a family with mutant children on the run from the government.
